Welcome to Garden Oaks!
Hello, new neighbor! The Garden Oaks Civic Club has put together this Welcome Packet to give you some useful information about our great neighborhood and we hope to see you soon. Garden Oaks has about 1400 homes and is divided into 5 sections. We love our small-town vibe with the neighborhood parks and green spaces and our winding, curved streets. We are a deed restricted community, which helps preserve the areas between our homes and maintains the residential character of the neighborhood.
We hope you will join us at a monthly Civic Club meeting. We meet on the first Tuesday of the month at 7 pm. Meetings generally last only about an hour. We are currently meeting in the private back room of Great Heights Brewing on Wakefield. We don’t meet during October, to allow for participation in National Night Out. Anyone can attend meetings. You don't have to be a member to attend. We welcome you!
The Welcome Packet includes information on:
- The History of Garden Oaks
- What is the Garden Oaks Civic Club
- Civic Club and Constable Dues
- Garbage, Recycling and Heavy Trash Schedules
- Section Map for the neighborhood
- Deed Restrictions
