We are pleased to announce that we have hired Heather Cook with Randle Law Office Ltd., L.L.P as our new Attorney to help GOMO re-establish itself as a Property Owners Association under Section 204 under the Texas Property Code.

An outline of steps which conforms to State requirements to accomplish this is as follows:
1. Amend current Bylaws to Support the Current Legal Status & File Notice of Formation of Petition Committee.
2. Collect Required Owner Signatures.
3. Close the Petition Period.
4. Circulate Funding Amendment (Amendment B).
5. Survey Owners on Potential Deed Restriction Amendments.
6. Evaluate Owner Feedback and Determine Need For Further Amendments.
7. Amend DRs
8. Amend Bylaws to reflect new Status as a POA.

Per our Bylaws, member Sections 1,2,3, &5 are to have three elected Board Directors to represent their section. These positions are for 3-year staggered terms. The four terms noted in the side bar as (2026) are expiring this year. There are two additional positions that are currently vacant to be filled that expire in 2028. These positions are elected by members of their respective Sections.
