Amendment A for sections 1, 2, 3, and 5

Amendment A is the amendment to the deed restrictions that created GOMO, and should be downloaded with the deed restrictions for sections 1, 2, 3, and 5 in order to have the complete deed restrictions for those sections.

*Note: Section 4 is continuing their effort to join GOMO. While section 4 does not have GOMO to help with its deed restrictions, the deed restrictions for that section are still valid and enforceable.

At this time, section five has a director position open. You can download a copy of the most recent election information and nomination form (PDF, updated 29 Aug 2005) if you are interested in running for GOMO and wish to see what the requirements are.

GOMO Bylaws

In addition to and as required by the Texas Property Code and Non-Profit Incorporation laws, GOMO operates under a set of bylaws. These bylaws were designed to make GOMO an organization that is responsive and open to the needs of property owners in Garden Oaks. You can download the current GOMO bylaws (PDF).

If you wish to report a potential deed restriction violation occurring in sections 1, 2, 3, or 5, you can download this form (PDF) and submit it to any GOMO director listed above, or mail it to the GOMO P.O. Box shown near the top of this page. Contact a GOMO director listed above or email GOMO first for any questions about how to fill out the form, what kind of violations should be reported, etc.

For Construction Plan approval, please submit the following:

  • 2 copies of plans including site plan and elevations with full dimensions
  • Current Survey of property requesting construction approval
  • Elevations of the residence if building a new detached garage or an addition to an existing detached garage
