- You must register as a Guest before you bid. Your e-mail address will serve as your login to bid, but the Guest ID you receive when you register is what you use to determine if you are the high bidder. Please use only one e-mail address. Register to bid here.
You must be at least 18 years of age to bid.
- Website bidding will be available from March 15, 2010 through 10 PM April 22, 2010.
- You must be the highest bidder to win. The 'highest bid' amount is updated automatically. Check the site often to see if you have been out-bid. You may bid as many times as you like. Winning bids must meet or exceed minimum required bid.
- Winners will be notified via email after auction closes on April 22nd.
- To out-bid anyone, your bid must increase by the following increments based upon the value of the item:
- Items under $100 - A minimum increase of $5 above previous bid.
- Items $100 - $249 - A minimum increase of $10 over the previous bid.
- Items $250 - $499 - A minimum increase of $25 over the previous bid.
- Items $500 and higher - A minimum increase of $50 over the previous bid.

- Bidding on line will be open and available to the public until 10 PM April 22, 2010.
- Payment. If you are the winner,
- 1. All winners will be notified by email (or telephone) after the auction closes on
- Thursday, April 22, 2010.
- 2. Payment can be made by cash, check (payable to Garden Oaks Civic Club), or Paypal.
- Cash or check payments can be made at the Command Center (Garden Oaks Shopping Center)
- during the Home Tour (noon to 6 pm)on Sunday, April 25th.
- 3. Payment must be made prior to item pickup.
- 4. After payment is confirmed, item pickup will be arranged by phone or email.
- 5. If payment is not received by 6pm on Monday April 26th, 2010, the item will be sold to the next highest bidder.
- All sales are final! No exchanges or refunds on auction items are permitted.
- Please do not attempt to return or exchange merchandise.
- Gift Certificates are not redeemable for cash.
- The bidder is financially responsible for the use of his or her name on all bid sheets.
- All items are sold “as is.” The item descriptions are as accurate as possible and neither the Garden Oaks Civic Club, the Home Tour Committee nor the Auction Committee are responsible for any discrepancies that may occur.
